REPORTED
========

A one-minute checkup for a Windows 10 or 11 PC.

HOW TO RUN IT
1. Keep these files together in one folder (if you opened a zip, choose "Extract all" first).
2. Double-click "Run Reported".
3. Windows may show a blue box that says "Windows protected your PC". That appears for any
program it has not seen before. Choose "More info", then "Run anyway".
Only do this for a copy you got from lab5280.com/reported or directly from us.
4. After about a minute a window opens with the results. A copy is saved on your Desktop.

WHAT IT DOES
- Reads your antivirus status, installed programs, what starts automatically, recurring tasks,
browser add-ons and notification permissions, accounts, and a few security settings.
- Tells you in plain English what looks fine, what is worth a look, and what needs attention.
- Includes an email checker: paste a suspicious email and it tells you whether it looks like a scam.

WHAT IT NEVER DOES
- It never changes, deletes or "fixes" anything.
- The checkup never sends anything anywhere. The results stay on your PC unless you choose to share them.
- Two lookups under "Tools" go online, only when you press their button, and each says what it sends.

It is a checkup, not an antivirus. A clean result means none of the common warning signs were
found. It is not a guarantee.
